THE STORY

Palazzo Piccinno is an intimate boutique guesthouse in the heart of Parabita, a charming town in Puglia midway between the Ionian and Adriatic coasts. Housed in an early 20th‑century neo‑Gothic palazzo, its high vaulted ceilings, original cement‑tile floors, and elegant archways reflect the craftsmanship of local artisans—echoing nearby churches—while its courtyard pool garden, framed by banana trees and hanging lanterns, creates a serene oasis just steps from the village center.

The property comprises four thoughtfully curated accommodations, each paying tribute to the region’s landscape and cultural roots. The Oliveto Suite, infused with olive‑grove hues, features full‑height windows, original flooring, a private balcony, and a grand bathroom with a circular stone tub. Magna Grecia Premium boasts soaring ceilings, original tile floors, and design elements inspired by the area’s ancient Greek heritage. The Primitivo Terrace Room celebrates Salento’s red wines, with deep red tones, a spacious 25 m² terrace overlooking the garden and pool, and luxurious bathroom details. Terra Rossa Cozy offers vaulted white ceilings, classic patterned tiles, and warm earthen tones—an intimate space that invites you to slow down.

Each morning, a cooked‑to‑order breakfast—prepared with local ingredients—is served on the terrace, by the pool, or in your suite. Guests may also enjoy complimentary aperitivo evenings in the courtyard, often accompanied by piano performances or local cocktails under the stars.

Beyond the gates, travelers can explore Punta della Suina—named the “Caribbean of the Ionian Sea”—just a 15‑minute drive away, or venture to Gallipoli’s ancient port, Lecce’s baroque architecture, or secluded Adriatic coves like Torre Lapillo and Ciolo Canyon. On‑site, guests can join curated experiences such as wine tastings, cooking workshops, or sound‑therapy sessions—many of which are included in the stay.

Founded by Marco and Richard—veterans of luxury travel—Palazzo Piccinno is their vision of “home” in Puglia: a place where local artisans meet contemporary design, meaningful encounters flourish, and everyday moments become deeply felt. Their warm, hands‑on hospitality and deep respect for the region transform a stay here into a slow, soulful immersion in Salento life.
