There are only three rooms, and each sits in a different part of the old building. The style is calm and pared back. White stone, vaulted ceilings, natural textures and carefully chosen furniture allow the architecture to do most of the work. Nothing feels crowded, which is exactly the point. Danielle and Jean-Louis chose space over extra bedrooms.
Â
Limoni is on the ground floor, beside the courtyard and the lemon tree. It is the smallest room, but also one of the most atmospheric, with white stone, a vaulted ceiling and direct access towards the olive grove. This was once the point from which the underground mill could be reached.
Â
Ulivo opens to the garden and is shaded by an old olive tree. Its thick stone walls keep the room naturally cool in summer, while the former stable area has been converted into a large bathroom with an open shower and dressing area.
Â
Ostuni is the largest suite, set on the first floor. Its terrace looks across the olive trees towards the town and, from the bathroom, towards the Adriatic. Old niches once used to store oil have been preserved, giving the room a more direct link to the building’s past.
