Mèlisses has five stays, spread between the main house, two sea-facing suites and the more independent Coral Cottage.
The Oyster Rooms are two connected master bedrooms with a shared bathroom, just a few steps from the main saltwater pool. They are usually booked together and are the easiest choice for a family or two friends travelling as a small group. The feeling is simple, white, Cycladic and bright, with a shaded outdoor area facing the sea.
Sea Urchin and Red Mullet are the two suites for couples who want more independence. Both have private outdoor kitchenettes and barbecue areas under pergolas, so you can prepare something easy without going back to the main house. Sea Urchin sits close to the pool; Red Mullet is set further away and closer to the sea, with a more private mood. Coral Cottage is the most self-contained option. It sits a few metres below the main house and has two bedrooms, a living room, an indoor kitchen, an outdoor dining space and its own private saltwater pool.
Across the rooms, expect sea views, natural light, antique Cycladic furniture, Italian and French vintage pieces, French mattresses, Italian linens and locally made organic bathroom products. The design has taste, but the rooms do not feel precious. They are made for bare feet, wet hair, books left outside and a slow morning before breakfast.
