Hektor is a boutique farm stay in Los Valles, Lanzarote, where art, design, and a working finca come together in the most natural way. You’re in the island’s quieter north, surrounded by terraced land and volcanic horizons, but perfectly positioned to explore Lanzarote classics—César Manrique spots, dramatic lava landscapes, and the beaches of the north coast. Hektor doesn’t try to feel like a traditional hotel. It’s more like being welcomed into a place with strong values, a playful eye, and a calm rhythm that quickly becomes yours.
Accommodation comprises 5 independent suites, each with its own character and art-filled identity. You’ll have a bedroom, a sitting area, a compact kitchenette (ideal for simple lunches and market finds), and your private bathroom. Some suites open onto terraces, others catch the evening sun—either way, you’re never far from the garden and the farm.
Breakfast is a highlight here, and it’s proudly 100% plant-based. The morning routine blends a farm-style buffet—bread, fruit, spreads, granola and fresh options—with an à la carte dish per person, plus a juice of the day and specialty coffee. The kitchen leans into creativity (think vegan twists on classics), and whenever possible, ingredients come straight from Hektor’s own vegetable patches.
Life at Hektor happens outdoors. There’s a garden and a small pool for cooling down after a beach day, plus terraces and open corners where you can read, draw, or simply do nothing. Sustainability isn’t marketing here: the property openly prioritises water, solar energy for hot water and the pool, and a farm project focused on regenerating arid land through planting and permaculture principles.
Hektor is owned and run by Bert and Yves from Belgium, and the place reflects what they care about: animals, art, thoughtful travel, and food that makes you feel good. The finca is also home to rescued animals (including a donkey named Silvestre) who are very much part of the daily atmosphere—this is a farm with real life, not décor. Add in Hektor’s creative energy—art on the walls, and an ongoing artist-residency spirit—and you get a stay that feels both grounded and quietly original.
