Mèlisses is a design-forward guesthouse perched on the rugged western coast of Andros, Greece. The property offers five thoughtfully designed accommodations, each with sea views and private outdoor spaces. The Sea Urchin and Red Mullet suites feature Cycladic antique furniture and outdoor kitchenettes, while the Oyster Rooms—two interconnected master bedrooms—are ideal for families or friends. The Coral Cottage, a two-bedroom guesthouse with its own saltwater pool, provides the utmost privacy and breathtaking views over the bay. All rooms are adorned with French mattresses, Italian linens, and locally made organic bathroom amenities. 

Breakfast at Mèlisses is a daily ritual of Mediterranean indulgence. Served in the open-plan kitchen or on the terrace by the saltwater infinity pool, mornings begin with homemade bread, seasonal fruits, local cheeses, Greek yogurt drizzled with honey, and eggs cooked with herbs from the garden. The setting—antique ceramics, vintage cutlery, and the sound of waves below—makes each meal a celebration of the senses. 

Guests can unwind by the saltwater infinity pool or descend stone steps to a private rocky platform for a swim in the crystal-clear sea. The property also features a vegetable garden, a henhouse, and a small organic farm supplying fresh ingredients for meals. Evenings may include private dinners upon request, with menus inspired by seasonal produce and Allegra’s culinary heritage.

With a background in photography and culinary arts, Allegra transformed her family’s Greek residence into a haven for like-minded travelers.
